Last Day

Its my last day at the newspaper tomorrow, and I start my new job on Tueaday after the long weekend. I'm really looking forward to it but a bit apprehensive about the amount of hours I will have to work. I'm sure everything will be fine though.

First Craving

KFC - yuck

I think I had my first craving, KFC, just the chicken though, and I gave in, it was strangely satisfying yet disgusting at the same time. I hope its just a one off.

First Scan - 6 Weeks

The baby is in the right place and we saw the heartbeat, we both decided it looked like a little maggot in the scan.
We are both very relieved everything is normal. Still early days yet though, the scan showed the baby to be 6 weeks but I think I'm 7 weeks, apparently its quite hard to tell at this early stage. Still not going to tell any one else yet.
Had another driving lesson this morning with Kev, not a good combination with morning sickness.

Morning Sickness?

I have been feeling quite nauseous in the morning, but Kev thinks that I'm just being a drama queen. But if I am around 7 weeks, its generally the 6 week mark that you start to have symptoms.

Kevin and I are pregnant

Kevin and I are pregnant, and I have decided to create this blog to document our first baby.
We only just found out last week and are still not sure of the correct dates, but we think I'm around 7 weeks pregnant. We have only told our parents and no one else, I am having a scan this Friday to make sure everything is alright as I am having a few problems. Fingers crossed.

I got this idea from my friend Melissa who is having a baby in NZ.
