A trip to the Seaside

We took a little day trip to seaside - West Mersea, about an hours drive from our place, when the tide comes in it sometimes becomes an island and the road in and out is inpassable. Despite being the middle of summer and the school holidays the beach was pretty much deserted, not surprising considering the weather.

Grandma comes to Stay

Maddie's childminder was away for the week, so Grandma came down to look after Maddie.

Now that Maddie is walking there is no stopping her, she is Miss Independent and wants to walk everywhere
