Maddie and her friend Jon get along really well, and when I told Maddie to hold Jon's hand,when we were at the garden centre she decided she couldn't let go even when Jon had had enough.

Pancake Day

My lovely assistant Madeleine was very helpful with the pancake batter, but we had to wait for the pancake flipping pro to come home to cook them

Playground Fun and First Haircut

We had a trip to Buckhurst Hill where we use to live before Maddie was born and wevgot Maddie's hair cut for the first time, she loved it but it made me feel a bit sad, because my little girl's growing up.

Snow - February

Maddie gave up halfway through us making a snowman because she got cold feet and wanted to go back inside, so we stole someone else for a photo

2nd Birthday

We took Maddie to her favourite restaurant for her 2nd Birthday - Pizza Express, (or is that Kev's favourite restaurant)






We went up to see Grandma and Grandad at the end of January, Grandma made Maddie a lovely birthday cake.

Hong Kong

We stopped over at Hong Kong on the way home to England for three nights, going from sleepy Wanganui to busy Hong Kongs streets on Sale day was definitely a shock to the system.



Poor Maddie wasn't very well, she was vomitting for 5 hours and was feeling very sorry for herself, she must have picked up a bug or something on the plane

Christmas Day

Christmas day began with a yummy breakfast of crossiants and fresh fruit salad - Thanks Mum. Followed by presents, then a walk around Virginia Lake while Mum and Dad sorted lunch. Maddie had her first taste of pavolova.
