First Run

Not really a run but jog, I went today with Kev and Maddie, hard work but we all enjoyed it, we went along the river and Kev got talking to a guy who lives on a boat and he gave us some crayfish which he had caught in the river.

Its been great weather the past few days which means sunglasses and hats.

Maddie is getting really heavy for me to carry in the BabyBjorn now, but she loves it so I still use it to walk to the local shops

Big Bed

Maddie likes to sit up in our bed and watch us get ready/dressed/organised, we couldn't resist pulling the covers up and making her look all grown up. She doesn't actually look that small either which is quite scary.
We went to a class today to learn baby massage, Maddie loved it and was squealing and making noises the whole way though, she was very chilled out afterwards too.

Grandparents visit

Kev's parents came for the weekend, Maddie had a great time with her grandparents, we had a picnic on saturday and went for some big walks.

She has been rolling over again but Kev still hasn't seen her do it so he thinks I'm making it up.

Maddie loves seeing her boyfriends every Tuesday. Cameron, Leopold, and Jon, Oscar was still asleep.

Injections

Maddie had her last lot of injections yesterday until she is a year old, she wasn't a happy bunny at all, this time she screamed and screamed. I felt so guilty because she was all smiles for the nurse and then with the three injections the screams got progressively worse. She has been a little bit clingy and tired today as well.

Four Months Old

Maddie was four months old yesterday, its hard to believe really, she is changing so quickly. She is filling out now, especially her cheeks.

Her latest thing is to blow bubbles and giggles when we put on funny voices. She is sleeping through the night now and has been for a few weeks. She has a morning and afternoon nap as well as a big sleep at lunchtime.

We just got her a door bouncer but she hasn't quite figured it out yet, she just does a little dance with her feet.

Busy Bank Holiday

It has been a very productive Bank Holiday weekend, Kev has been working like crazy doing our bathroom with the help of his workmate Jamas. There is still work to do but they have done most of it. Maddie was very good despite all the distruption and noise.

Baby Signing

Maddie and I went to our first baby signing class on Thursday, she loved it. Lots of singing which she really likes and looking at all the other babies too which she is fascinated by.

Maddie held hands with a boy yesterday at Bumps and Babes! It was by accident though, her and Cameron were lying on the floor next to each other and they were both waving there arms around and caught hands, Maddie of course just gripped on and wouldn't let go. What a girl!!





Maddie even made friends with a Ladybird on Sunday when we had a picnic by the river.

She has just started holding onto her bottle, possibly because she thinks I'm going to take it away.

3 Months Old

Maddie is now three months old. She got weighed on Monday and now weighs 11 lbs 11ozs.

We've been out walking everyday since we got the stroller, she loves looking at everything.

She loves sucking her thumb but only when she's tired, it normally comes out after shes fallen asleep.

I'm trying to give her some baby calpol here after her injections - she's not interested and its dribbling all down her chin onto her bib.

The Long Awaited Stroller

We finally got our stroller on Friday, sent over from the US so we took advantage of the gorgeous weather and went for some walks and even had a picnic today. We put it to the test and went off roading on the bridleways not far from our place. Maddie loved it, she actually slept on some of the bumpiest bits.

Maddie was very tired on Easter Monday after her trip away, she even fell asleep under her musical playgym, a first for her.
