Las Vegas Wedding

I came across these two photos on Sunday of my baby brother and sister-in-law, I've been meaning to scrap them for ages.  I've been thinking about them a lot lately and can't wait to see them at the end of the year.

Warm March

A few photos from the past week, we've been making the most of the unseasonably warm weather and spending lots of time outside.  We even had a BBQ tonight, 21 degrees unheard of for March.

12 photos on the 12th of March

I'm not a very good photographer, but I do have aspirations be be a better photographer, one day  when I have more time.  So when I saw this challenge on my Elizabeth Kartchner's website my favourite scrapbooking blog, I decided to give it a go.  Just 12 photographs, I tried to take the photos from different angles, just photos of my everyday stuff, mainly in our garden with Caleb.

A Treat Out

We had a little shopping to do in Liverpool and then we went onto Pizza Express for a treat.

Best Friends

As much as these two can fight, they really do love each other, Caleb started climbing out of his cot and the other night I discovered him in bed with Maddie, he now has his own bed though.

Valentines Day

Valentines Day baking did get a bit messy, but we all it keep them amused for a while.

Maddie gave out her Valentines to all her school friends and she got one back from a boy!

Kids Valentines Craft Idea

Maddie likes making things just as much as me, so I decided we would make a Valentines gift for all her classmates together.  I got some inspiration from http://elizabethkartchner.com/category/kids-craft-idea/

 First we cut out 28 hearts to create 14 hearts, then Maddie wrote a message and decorated 14 of them - the fronts.

then I stitched the two hearts almost together, popping in the heart sweets as I went.



Love hearts that have a sweet surprise inside.

Naughty Boy

When Maddie yelled out "Mum quick come downstairs and see whats Caleb has done" I was imagining all sorts of disasters. Not three tubes of sugar balls, stars, and chocolate balls all over the kitchen floor. It seems he just wanted a little sugary snack, and cake sprinkles were handy and the only way to eat them was to tip them all over the kitchen floor.

It was Maddie's turn to have the class teddy bear Ted in the weekend, we had to take photos of all the things he did with her to stick in Ted's book

Birthday Girl

The starting point for the cake, thanks to youtube and a five minute video, I felt brave enough to give it a go

we didn't actually cut the cake, I made cupcakes for all the children to put in their party bags

My little girl is now five, its very scary to think how fast the past five years have gone.
