The midwife came again today, she wanted to see Maddie again after her cord had come off. (which was quite stubborn and took two weeks to come off) She also weighed Maddie and she has put on 7 oz since last Wednesday, so she now weighs 8 lb 14 oz, 4kg. A very healthy weight gain at this stage, she is feeding and sleeping really well only waking once in the night, last night she managed to sleep from 11.30pm through to 5.00am. I've developed an infection though so I have to take some antibiotics which will affect my milk slightly so hopefully Maddie won't be too bothered by it, apparently some babies can notice the difference in the milk and are a bit reluctant to feed but it shouldn't be too much of an issue.
